More than 60 products were announced as being recalled by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration this week because they could contain metal fragments.
The announcements appeared in FDA’s Enforcement Report, which detailed a large number of products affected by Kerry Foods’ lactic acid that could contain metal fragments.
Kerry Foods initiated their recall for lactic acid containing products on June 1, though notice from the FDA only came on June 27.
