Thomas Lighting and Bel Air Lighting both announced recalls for light fixtures this week, leaving some consumers in the dark.
Thomas Lighting recalled 28 modelsof its ceiling flush-mount light fixtures that have degrading wire installations, which could lead to charged wires becoming exposed.
Thomas Lighting received 11 reports of defective fixtures; no injuries were reported. See all 28 models in the table below.
And Bel Air Lighting is recalling outdoor wall mount lanterns that can also have an electrical short.
The recall affects about more than 99,000 lights sold at Lowes stores and lighting showrooms nationwide for the past six years.
