As the Snowpocalypse blankets parts of the country, still others are thawing out and already looking to the spring and warm weather.

Wherever you are, take a break from your day-to-day and go sledding. You won’t regret it.

“But I don’t have a sled and I don’t want to break my kid’s Radio Flyer!”

That’s OK. Here are 5 ways to sled and shred as an adult.

  1. Cardboard

Brace yourself; your tailbone might pay the price for any fall. Make it safer by sitting down.

  2. Shopping Cart

We don’t actually recommend this one. It’s likely illegal where you live and probably dangerous. But if it were to happen… it might be fun…. Make it safer by not doing this.

  3. Broken Sled

If you’re over the age of 20 and don’t have kids, chances are slim that you’ve got lots of sleds lying around ready for your use. But, the chances of you finding a broken sled in the park that you can use are slightly higher. Make it safer by using a fully-functioning sled.

  4. Trash Can

Well I mean, you gotta try it once, right? Again, make it safer  by not doing this.

  5. ATVs

If you’re ready for the big leagues, you can try shredding on an ATV. No big deal, right? Make it safer by wearing a helmet.
