Best Buy recalled the Rocketfish Battery Case for iPhone
Best Buy has announced a recall of approximately 31,000 Rocketfish battery cases for the iPhone 3G/3GS, because the battery can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports 14 incidents of overheating batteries, including three reports of minor burns to consumers and four reports of minor property damage.
The recall applies to Rocketfish Model RF-KL12 Mobile Battery Cases for iPhone 3G and 3GS, sold exclusively at Best Buy stores nationwide.
Consumers affected by the recall should contact Best Buy for information on returning the product and receiving a Best Buy gift card.
