Hopefully your Thanksgiving pie wasn’t affected by the recall of Canned Pumpkin from Giant Eagle Supermarkets. Giant Eagle issued the recall of Valu Time and Food Club brands of Canned Pumpkin the day before Thanksgiving because quality standards were not met.
Ocean Spray has recalled specific “best by” dates of Original Flavor Craisins due to the presence of foreign materials. The recall was initiated as a precautionary measure after small, hair-like metal fragments were discovered inside the product.
A variety of seafood products, including Nova Style Cold Smoked Salmon, Sable Fish Lox, Salmon Sushi Fillets, and Salmon Trim from King & Prince Seafood were recalled due to Listeria contamination.

Semita de Piña, which are pineapple filled pastries, were recalled due to undeclared dairy ingredients. The recall includes 50 cases of the product that was distributed throughout the state of New York.
GFS Sugar Canisters were recalled because they were inadvertently filled with non-dairy coffee creamer. Non-dairy coffee creamer contains sodium caseinate, which is a milk derivative, posing a risk of allergic reaction for those allergic to milk.
