Allergens account for more than 50 percent of recalls this quarter and yet consumer allergen sensitives show no sign of decline. What we put into and use to treat our bodies is becoming increasingly important. Especially with rising
healthcare costs, it’s impossible to not see one’s own body as a liability and it’s necessary that we become aware of product recalls and the causes for them.
But even if we returned every recalled product we own, would we know that the ingredients in them were harmful from the beginning?
Looking at the recent issues with baby shampoo, and the debacle with Skinny Girl Margaritas and their labeling, its clear people are closely monitoring the products they buy and weighing their ingredients against any health issues they may have.
