Consumer Recall Safety - Stephanie Haller

Read on to see why we're happy that Stephanie works at ConsumerBell.

There’s a reason why we have a running “Honey Badger” joke in our office, and it’s mostly because of Chief Creative Officer Stephanie Haller.

Watching viral Youtube videos (some not safe for little ears) might give you some context for why this week’s Why I Work at ConsumerBell piece is all about Stephanie and her Honey Badger ways.

And no, we don’t mean paw-licking and mice-eating, but we do mean a total commitment to getting things done and doing work. Honey Badgers, according to the Youtube video, so you know it’s true, will tear through bees nests and fight cobras to get what they want. So if you tone that down just a bit, put on a stylish pair of sunglasses and add a natural talent for design, photography and marketing, you get Stephanie!

Say hi to Stephanie by tweeting us @ConsumerBell.

“[CEO] Ellie Cachette knew that I busted my ass at everything I did and wanted to have someone like that on her team,” says Stephanie about being hired on to ConsumerBell in 2010.

Both Stephanie and Ellie studied at Humboldt State University, but never met until after graduating.

“Ellie knew the magic of Humboldt and how it could inspire its students and I like to think she saw that drive in me to do something amazing,” Stephanie says.

As Chief Creative Officer, Stephanie oversees all content, social media (shout out!), PR, and design. She’s also the “Mom” of the office: Stephanie makes sure we take lunch breaks, eat our vitamins, and dress warmly when it’s cold outside.

No matter what you ask her to do, she gets it done and she gets it done with style. That’s why we love Steph. Honey Badger don’t care.

Consumer Recall Safety - Miss Kitty

Miss Kitty is Stephanie's cat. She can also have her Honey Badger moments.

“Life is what you make of it and plans change. You must be willing to adapt and evolve and take charge of your own destiny,” she says.

Outside of ConsumerBell, Stephanie loves experimenting with new recipes, shopping at vintage and thrift stores, photography, and spending time with her husband and their cat, Miss Kitty.

“I LOVE to bake. Probably 25% of our boxes when we moved to New York were kitchen supplies.”

“The most important box that shipped from Seattle actually had all of my jadite dishes in it – opening that box was so scary! I would have cried if any of it was broken.”

What do you love about Stephanie? Everything, right? Let us know in the comments.
