The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Wilton Industries Inc. are recalling about 7,300 of their Youth Tiaras because they contain high levels of lead.

These tiaras were made in China, marketed to kids three and older, and were sold at Party City, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Ben Franklin Stores, Amazon.com, and other retailers from June 2009 through April 2010 for about $13.

The tiara is silver-colored with clear crystals and has a SKU number of 120-228.

If you have one of the recalled tiaras, do not allow your child access to it any longer and contact Wilton Industries for a full refund.

2010 has not been a good year for children’s products. A number of other recalls have happened in the recent months for products that contain high levels of lead -  children’s jewelry, children’s belts from Target, youth hockey sticks. Over 85% of juices and canned fruit sold in California were found to have lead that exceeded state laws, according to a recent report.
